About the design
For Under The Veil, we built a landing page experience that took visitors through a journey. To reflect the nature of their services and their target audience of high-performing earners, we brought class, clarity, and restraint to the site through classic typefaces, carefully selected motion, contrast between dark and light colors, smooth scrolling, and light entrance animations. Each of these choices was made to complement the language on the page and mirror the very effect of the retreat being promoted: serenity, tranquility, and privacy.

Before working with Serena, I felt like the brand existed clearly in my head and nowhere else. I knew exactly who it was for and exactly what it could not be, but I had no visual home for it. Serena translated a brand that lived entirely in my head into something restrained enough to be believed, and handed it over in a way that left me in control of it. Serena was amazing to work with and we genuinely look forward to building with her again. If you are reading this trying to decide, the thing worth knowing is that she listens before she designs.
